# Creating Your First Website

Spin up a new website on Hostinger in under a minute.

## Requirements

* An active Hostinger hosting plan
* A domain (or use a free subdomain)

## Steps

1. Open [hpanel.hostinger.com](https://hpanel.hostinger.com) and log in.
2. Click **Websites** in the top navigation.
3. Click **Add website**, then choose to create a new website (or **Migrate Website** to bring an existing one — see [Migrate Website](/websites/migrate-website.md)).
4. Pick a platform:

   | Platform               | Best for                                                                                           |

   | **Hostinger Horizons** | Build websites and web apps by describing your idea to AI                                          |
   | **Website Builder**    | Beginner-friendly drag-and-drop editing                                                            |
   | **WordPress**          | Fully customizable sites — start from scratch or with AI, thousands of plugins                     |
   | **Node.js web app**    | Deploy your own code from GitHub, a file upload, or your IDE — see [Node.js](/node.js/overview.md) |
   | **PHP/HTML website**   | Upload PHP or HTML files, or start from a template                                                 |
5. Assign a domain — an existing domain, a free `*.hostingersite.com` subdomain, or a custom domain to connect later.
6. Pick a datacenter close to your audience.
7. Confirm. Provisioning takes a few seconds.

## What's included

Every website comes with:

* A `public_html` directory for your files
* At least one MySQL database (plan-dependent)
* An SSL certificate (activate in [SSL settings](/websites/ssl.md))
* FTP and SSH access
* Full hPanel feature access
