# Hostinger Hub (Easy Onboarding)

Hostinger Hub, powered by the Hostinger Easy Onboarding plugin, is your home in the WordPress admin with a setup checklist, site status, and Hostinger tools to install.

**Hostinger Hub** is your site's home screen in the WordPress admin. It shows the state of your site, guides you through setup with a checklist, and lets you add more Hostinger tools. Hub is provided by the **Hostinger Easy Onboarding** plugin, which is being renamed **Hostinger Hub** — your **Plugins** list may show either name.

## Get the plugin

The plugin is installed automatically when you install WordPress on a Hostinger hosting plan. If it's missing, reinstall it from hPanel: open your website dashboard, go to **WordPress** → **Overview**, and install it from the recommended plugins.

It's only available for sites hosted with Hostinger and isn't listed on WordPress.org.

## Open Hub

In the WordPress admin, go to **Hostinger** → **Hub**.

## Home

The **Home** tab brings together:

* **A prompt for Hostinger Agent** — ask the AI agent to do something on your site, such as finding a blog post or listing orders. Rotating suggestions show what it can do.
* **Status cards** — **Overview**, **Domain**, and **Hosting plan** at a glance.
* **The Set up your website checklist** — described below.

### Set up your website

The checklist adapts to your site — how it was created, which plugins are active, and your domain — so you only see steps that apply. Mark a step you don't want with **Not needed**. Completed and skipped steps move below the ones still to do.

Steps appear in this order:

1. **Create site with AI** — generates your site with the [AI theme](/wordpress/hostinger-plugins/ai-theme.md). After it's done, **Create again** starts a new version.
2. **Connect your affiliate account** — shown when [Affiliate Marketing Tools](/wordpress/hostinger-plugins/affiliate-marketing.md) is active. **Connect affiliate account** opens the plugin's marketplace setup.
3. **Set up your online store** — shown when WooCommerce is active. Walks through **Add store details**, **Add your first product or service**, **Set up payments**, and **Manage shipping** (skipped for stores selling only digital products).
4. **Add a domain** — **Add domain** connects your own domain to the site.
5. **Claim a free business email** — sets up a [mailbox](/emails/overview.md) on your domain. Available once a domain is connected.
6. **Enhance your website with plugins** — suggests plugins for your type of site. Completes as soon as you install any plugin.
7. **Get found on Google** — **Set up Google Site Kit** connects Search Console and Analytics. Available once a domain is connected.
8. **Make your site discoverable by AI** — shown once a custom domain is connected. Turns on LLM optimization in [Hostinger Tools](/wordpress/hostinger-plugins/tools.md#llm-optimization).
9. **Turn site visitors into subscribers** — **Connect to Reach** links the site to Hostinger Reach. See [Hostinger Reach plugin](/wordpress/hostinger-plugins/reach.md).

## Discover

The **Discover** tab lists Hostinger products you can add to the site, such as [Ecommerce](/wordpress/hostinger-plugins/ecommerce.md) and [Affiliate Marketing Tools](/wordpress/hostinger-plugins/affiliate-marketing.md). Once you install one, it leaves **Discover**, appears in the **Hostinger** menu, and may add a step to your checklist.

## Troubleshooting

### Hub is missing from the Hostinger menu

Check under **Plugins** that the plugin is installed and active — it may be listed as **Hostinger Easy Onboarding** or **Hostinger Hub**. If it's missing, reinstall it from hPanel under **WordPress** → **Overview**.

### A step you expected isn't in the checklist

Some steps only appear when they apply:

* **Connect your affiliate account** — [Affiliate Marketing Tools](/wordpress/hostinger-plugins/affiliate-marketing.md) must be active.
* **Set up your online store** — WooCommerce must be active.
* **Make your site discoverable by AI** — [Hostinger Tools](/wordpress/hostinger-plugins/tools.md) must be active and a custom domain connected.

### A step says "Connect your domain first"

**Claim a free business email** and **Get found on Google** need your own domain. Complete **Add a domain** first, then come back to them.

### Enhance your website with plugins is already complete

The step completes as soon as any plugin is installed on the site, including plugins added from **Plugins** in the WordPress admin.

## FAQ

<details>

<summary>What's the difference between Hub and Hostinger Tools?</summary>

Hub is the home screen and setup checklist. [Hostinger Tools](/wordpress/hostinger-plugins/tools.md) holds site settings such as maintenance mode, security, and redirects. They're separate plugins and work independently.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can I deactivate the plugin?</summary>

Yes. Deactivating it removes Hub and the setup checklist from the WordPress admin, but your site and other Hostinger plugins keep working. Reinstall it from hPanel if you want Hub back.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Where did the plugin suggestions in hPanel go?</summary>

Plugin suggestions that used to appear during WordPress setup in hPanel are now in Hub, inside the WordPress admin — see **Enhance your website with plugins** in the checklist.
